She's like Mary Kate and Ashley without all the child star baggage written on her face, right? The twins' little sis is currently making the rounds at Cannes in support of her new film Martha Marcy May Marlene, which premiered last night. But let's talk about what's really important: her hair.















Hair stylist Giannandrea tended to Elizabeth's tresses for the premiere. “My inspiration for Elizabeth’s red carpet premiere look was a take on La Belle Époque," Giannandrea said. "An avant-garde soft finger waves ethereal up-do, adorned with a modern Chanel metal chain head band. Tres chic for Cannes!”

And here's how he did it: “I applied Kerastase Volumactive to dry hair, and blew out the whole head to get a voluminous dry texture. I then brush ed the whole head, sectioned a side part and started waving the hair with 1/4 inch curling iron in small sections. After that I brushed the whole head again, and sprayed Klorane Dry Shampoo over the entire length. I put the Chanel head band on, and then took the whole length and twisted it back in into a soft bun. I pinned the low bun with volume in the back to resemble a bob, keeping a few soft waves out near the face. Elizabeth Olsen, younger sister to those famous twins, is getting some serious attention at the Sundance Film festival for her role in the horror movie "Silent House". She is also starring in another upcoming psycho-thriller "Martha Macy May Marlene". Although I am not a huge fan of scary movies, I definitely will be interested in seeing her work. She went to NYU Tish School of the Arts so she must be legit, right?















I've always been fascinated by the Olsen twins, them being billionaire moguls at age 3 and all. One reason why I am so intrigued with the Olsen clan is how they manage to stay completely out of the tabloids (aside from being photographed running around NYC dressed as bag ladies). One would assume that they might have followed the footsteps of their fellow child stars and wind up in rehab or the like - but they seem normal - I guess.
