Greetings from Gibraltar! As I'm ready for dinner before everyone else I thought I would log into Blogger and see what's happening. I have missed soo many new blog posts; I'm never going to catch up!!

I'm having a lovely time. If you don't know, I'm visiting my Sister and her boyfriend who live in Gibraltar. I'm here for a week but I've got a couple of weeks off work which means lots of chill out time and of course chance to catch up with my Sis! So far we have done a bit of sunbathing and lots of sightseeing. Today we drove to Spain and visited a safari park which was HUGE and brilliant. We're very tired but will be heading out soon for tea and a few beers. Tomorrow we're heading to the beach for the day so I'm hoping to top up my tan.

The one thing that is driving me mad in the hot weather is my hair. It is dry, dull, my half-grown out fringe is driving me crazy and my blonde is coming through. No matter what I do with it it never looks right so I tie it up. It got me thinking.. if it's always tied up it may as well be short!

I used to have my hair like this and I am seriously tempted to have it cut like this again. Frankie Sandford is the ultimate short hair idol. Choppy, glossy and sophisticated; she always looks fab.

Blackout is the fifth studio album by American recording artist Britney Spears, released by Jive Records on October 26, 2007. Spears began working on this album as early as February 2006, exploring into electropop, synthpop and techno. The album has a more R&B/urban sound and recording with new producers such as Danja. Blackout was her first studio album in four years since 2003's In the Zone and is the first time Spears is the executive producer of one of her albums. Blackout debut at number two on the Billboard 200, becoming her first, and so far only studio album not to debut at number one, due to changes in Billboard structuring at the time. This caused controversy with some in the media, as the changes were only announced and subsequently put into effect half-way through Blackout's opening week.According to the IFPI, the album was 32nd in terms of units shipped by the end of 2007

The album's first single, "Gimme More", peaked at number one in the Canadian Hot 100 and became a top five hit in twelve countries. The second single, "Piece of Me", reached number one in Ireland. The final single, "Break the Ice reached the top forty on the Billboard Hot 100, while all three peaked one in the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play. The album won the award for "Album of the Year" at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2008. In November 2009, The Times named the album as the fifth runner-up in the '100 Best Pop Albums of the Noughties' In 2011, Rolling Stone magazine called the album "possibly the most influential pop album of the last five.

When choosing a hair color, the trick is to complement your skin tone in order to minimize flaws and bring out the best in your complexion. Picking the wrong shade can be a disaster for your overall appearance. It can make you look tired, sickly or unnaturally ruddy. Visiting The Early Show on Monday, stylist to the stars David Evangelista brought tips on hair coloring, which he demonstrated on three models.He says the first step is to determine if your skin tone is cool or warm. In general, you will have a cool skin tone if your hair is naturally bluish-black, dark brown, medium ash or golden blonde. Your skin will be pale, with pink or no undertones; medium, with pink, golden or no cheek color; very dark brown (some Latinas or African Americans); or true olive (Asian). Evangelista says "cool blues" do well with blue-red hair shades, such as burgundy, ruby, garnet, cherry or bordeaux.


You will mostly likely have a warm skin tone if your natural hair color is red, reddish or golden brown, deep brown, strawberry blonde or natural golden blonde. Your skin will be pale, with peach or gold undertones; brown, with pink, butterscotch, copper, caramel or golden undertones (some Latinas or African Americans); or freckled. "Warm yellows" do best with copper, cinnamon, ginger, russet and strawberry shades of red hair color, according to Evangelista.
